Come and Hug me

The depression and sadness in the series you will feel is going to be too hard for you to continue at the beginning of it. However, the love and kindness between the protagonists is gonna pull you towards it until it grows on you. The dark romantic series is one hell of representation of the aftermath of the past to the present. Directed by Mr Choi Joon Bae he has shown the beautiful part of our life i.e. love which can be troublesome but never incompetence.


The day when the characters (male lead: Yoon Na moo, female lead: Han Joo Yi) cross their pathways with each other for the very first time  during the beautiful place with cherry blossom all over, the lingering in their eyes can tell that the story’s gonna be melodramatic. However with the development of the story “Come and Hug me” reflect upon the complicated love story with heart-wrenching relationships beside it.



The male lead (Yoon Na moo)is consistent and coherent throughout the series. The variation of emotions in the characters are outstandingly portrayed by him. He sink into the remorse since the day his own father murdered parents of the girl() he loved. From that day onwards he is searching for the redemption to those deeds that he didn’t even commit. Yoon Na moo with a strict demeanour but the soft heart is compelled, judged by the world comparing him to his father.



Similarly the female lead ( Han Joo Yi) quite well is brave head on strong to tackle everything which is quite the features most of the drama female characters lacks. The trauma she suffers when young still left her with PTSD and separate her away with Yoon Na Moo. However the feeling remain still the same and surfaced when met with Na Moo again in the future. Thus giving this drama a quite novel feel to it.


The exponent character Yoon Hui Jae(Heo Joon ho) father of male lead captivated audience filling his every scene with palpable tension and heart chilling coldness. He portrayed his psychotic character very well giving off the creepy and terrifying act. Nonetheless, he shows a cool demeanour no regrets whatsoever kinda vibe even with the cruelty he pull towards the characters.

The accident that occurred 15 yrs. ago in the lives of the protagonist changes their life in such a way that they had never imagined it’d be. The world tumbled upside down with one night. Such night which should have provided the warmness but it doesn’t take a long time to be overshadowed and dark shattering everything they have dreamt. The peculiar combinations of the killer son and the victim’s daughter is even hard to imagine, to begin with. However, they weren’t ill-fated, they were each other salvation. Those little epiphanies they found with each other are truly overwhelming in such dark romantic plots.

 I was quite impressed with each beautiful scene in the series. Hats off to the writer for the tiny beautiful details the single drop of the tear can shake the heart of many fans as long as with me.The actors that starred had stunningly presented their character without any awkwardness in every scene. The chemistry between the two actors has given a beautiful and pretty unique taste to the series. What surprised me is the way the details in the movie to there like after a creepy scene there seems to have the hint of light, faith and hope to win over the wrong things always by honesty and truth. I recommend you to watch it if you have enough time cause it won't disappoint you.

What are the colour of your thoughts?

This question has been stuck in my mind for a certain period of time now when I first saw it in the social media once. It was weirdly triggering me questioning each vision in a peculiar shade. The comfort I felt inside was indescribable so I find myself asking this question to everyone and its surprising how many of them assert a certain confidence while answering it.
